A razor the way it should be : super smooth. always sharp. very sturdy. (and shiny)
plus it helps if you're prone to pesky ingrowns and strawberry legs.

had to take off one star
I'm going to give a few warnings first because I think it's important. You absolutely must not use a lot of pressure when using this razor or you can easily cut your skin. I also would be careful when you are shaving the SIDE of your legs and be cautious of not angling the razor either because you could nick yourself too (I did both -- learning curve!). The razor are suprisingly soft and bendable. They are easy to put on. Rinse off the blade after use and let it air dry and you'll get more use out of it. It is difficult to get the razor out so be careful not to grab it by the sharp blades. After all that, it's actually a beautiful razor. Shaves clean and does not rust! It is sleek and stylish. I love it but took off one star because of the possibility of nicking yourself.

made well, husband like it.
I’ve never used a straight razor before, so I let my husband try it, he has medium growth that he needed a shave. He like it, said it will take some getting used to. He uses the disposable types of pre-loaded razors not the electric type. But he’s picky and liked it. so that says something!

there is a learning curve to this
The weighted portion of the razor is nice. However there is a learning curve to this razor. I cut myself several times before getting the hang of it

i can skip leg day
First off, this razor is BEAUTIFUL and it feels great in the hand. It is weighted, so there is some hefty to it. It comes with blades that you install by turning a screw. The top opens up & you drop a blade in. You then close the razor back up & you are ready to shave. A tiny sliver of the razor will be sticking out of the head. This razor does take some getting used to. You are supposed to go slow and not press down too hard. That was definitely a learning curve for me because I am used to quickly swiping a razor over my legs & being down with it. I had to really slow down with this one & actually ended up cutting myself. However, the shave is very very close. I normally shave every night, but I decided to run a test to see if I could get away with shaving every other night, and because this razor provides such a close shave, I can. This is the perfect choice for those who want to shave less, but who are willing to slow down the shaving process.

works well but you have to be careful
I was first drawn to this razor due to it's sustainability concept. You definitely feel "old school" when using this. The blades that are supplied are beyond sharp. Since you only have a single edge touching the skin you have to be very careful the first few times you use this. Very high quality all around, I actually have less razor bumps.
